VIN Decode API built for your region's vehicles.
Most VIN decoders are built on North American data and fall apart on GCC-spec and grey-import vehicles. AlgoDriven's decoder is built for the vehicles actually on your roads — turning any VIN (or a photo of one) into the exact factory build: make, model, variant, colours and every factory-fitted option.
One key. Four ways to know the car.
Factory VIN (GCC)
Send a 17-character VIN — or an image of one — and get the exact factory build back: make, model, variant, series, build month/year, body, engine, drivetrain, exterior and interior colours, GCC-spec flag, plus every factory-standard and factory-optional item fitted to that exact car — full factory options and build data, not a generic spec sheet. Includes the vehicle's AlgoDriven code for use across our pricing and catalogue APIs.
Factory VIN (AU)
Decode Australian-market vehicles by VIN to their factory build data: make, model, series, model year, body, fuel, cylinders, engine litres, transmission and factory-fitted options, with an optional client reference on every call.
Vehicle History Check
Check a VIN's history across EU and US sources: title records with odometer readings, brand checks, junk/salvage/insurance records, accidents, thefts and liens — with a single clean flag telling you whether the report is free of title brands and salvage records.
PPSR Certificates (Australia)
Generate an official PPSR search certificate from a VIN — returned as a PDF link with counts of registered security interests, write-offs and stolen reports. A follow-up status endpoint lets you watch the search and get notified if security interests change.
Built for your region.
Major brands across GCC and Australian markets, with regional specifications and new builds added continuously. Every decode is anchored to an AlgoDriven code — the same vehicle identity used by our Pricing API and Car Catalogue API — so one lookup powers your whole stack. Volume & enterprise pricing
Production pricing scales with call volume. Talk to us about volume tiers and enterprise terms.
Your first call.
Auth is a single Authorization header on every request. All responses are JSON with standard HTTP status codes — 200 on success, 404 for VIN not found, 401/403 for key errors.

Which regions and brands are covered?
Coverage is tuned for GCC and Australian market vehicles — including regional specs that North American decoders miss. Contact us for coverage details for your specific brands and years.
Can I decode from a photo of the VIN?
Yes. The Factory VIN (GCC) endpoint accepts either the 17-character VIN string or an image file containing the VIN. For best results send a high-resolution JPG or PNG, correctly aligned and rotated, where the VIN can be clearly read.
What does the Factory VIN (AU) endpoint return?
Factory build data for Australian-market vehicles by VIN: make, model, series, model year, body, fuel, cylinders, engine litres, transmission and factory-fitted options, with an optional client reference on every call.
Do you provide vehicle history and PPSR checks?
Yes. The Vehicle History Check endpoint returns EU and US title, odometer, junk/salvage/insurance, accident and theft records for a VIN, with a clean/not-clean flag. The PPSR endpoints generate an official Australian PPSR search certificate (PDF) with counts of registered security interests, write-offs and stolen reports — plus an ongoing watch you can poll for changes to security interests.
What does it cost?
Production pricing scales with volume — contact the API team for a quote and to get access.
Is the API secure and compliant?
Yes. AlgoDriven holds a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation and ISO 27001 certification, and all API traffic is encrypted in transit. Compliance documentation is available on request.
